The Procurement Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the smooth procurement process for our healthcare facilities nationwide.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of goods and services for hospitals and healthcare facilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations during procurement processes
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts and terms
- Monitor inventory levels and track procurement activities
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs
- Participate in supplier selection and evaluation processes
- Recommend process improvements to streamline procurement operations
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field
- Proven experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes policies and regulations
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or related field
- Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Experience with contract management and vendor relations
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $65000 - $90000 per year
