Job Title: Quality Specialist
Location: Odessa TX 78763
Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
Pay Rate: $20XX $3XX (Shift Differential)
Schedule: 11 ON / 3 OFF
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM 3:00 AM (or until work is completed)
Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing moderately complex inspection processes to ensure equipment meets quality specifications. This role involves identifying defects completing inspection documentation and maintaining company quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform moderately complex and intricate inspection processes
- Meet nightly inspection goals
- Verify equipment meets quality standards
- Identify defects in parts and approve or reject items accordingly
- Complete inspection reports and ensure accurate documentation
- Maintain company quality standards
- Identify recurring quality issues and suggest improvements
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Promote safe work behavior and address unsafe conditions
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Work night shifts on a rotating schedule
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of ESP experience
- Experience in manufacturing and/or quality environment preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer-first mindset
- Results-driven and action-oriented
- Ability to complete required testing documentation
- Equipment troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong planning prioritization and time management skills
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to read write and speak English

Physical Demands & Work Conditions:
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally 20 lbs frequently 10 lbs constantly
- Climb ladders stairs scaffolding ramps
- Maintain balance on slippery or uneven surfaces
- Frequent bending kneeling crouching and crawling
- Extended walking and standing
- Use hands and arms to push pull lift and handle objects
- Fine motor skills for inspection and documentation
- Close visual acuity for inspecting small defects and parts
- Ability to operate motor vehicles
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments
- Work in extreme heat (100 degrees)
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts vehicles electrical hazards chemicals
- Exposure to fumes dust gases poor ventilation
- Exposure to oils and cutting fluids
- Safety-sensitive role; may require drug testing
