We are partnering with a confidential manufacturing client in Garden Grove to identify an HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced hands-on plant environment. This role supports day-to-day HR operations and serves as a key partner to supervisors and managers across the facility.
This is an on-site position for an HR professional who enjoys being visible on the floor handling real employee relations matters and owning the full HR lifecycle at the site level.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily HR operations for a manufacturing facility
Provide guidance on employee relations performance management and corrective actions
Partner with supervisors and managers on coaching development and issue resolution
Support investigations disciplinary meetings and documentation
Coordinate hourly and salaried recruiting efforts and onboarding
Ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws
Respond to employee questions regarding policies procedures and benefits
Prepare HR documentation including offers promotions transfers and terminations
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
Support training coordination and workforce development initiatives
Partner with payroll to support local payroll processing
Promote a positive compliant and safe workplace culture
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
Prior experience in manufacturing industrial or plant-based environments strongly preferred
Working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance
Comfortable handling employee relations issues independently
Strong communication skills and professional judgment
Ability to remain calm objective and organized in fast-paced situations
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $93000 - $115000 annually (depending on experience)
Quarterly cash bonus eligibility
120 hours of paid time off annually
