General Technician duties are custodial and maintenance to provide a clean orderly and safe work environment at the Homeless Shelter or Transitional Housing at Park Place. The General Technician duties include overall building and grounds maintenance and minor repair functions. Other essential functions include but not limited to: Perform routine and comprehensive custodial maintenance of assigned facility; removes trash in accordance with established procedures; wash interior/exterior windows as necessary; cleans and disinfect restrooms and stock facilities with paper and supplies; troubleshoots and repair minor plumbing and electrical problems and replace a variety of light bulbs and light accessories; Operate and performs basic maintenance on power cleaning equipment; perform minor repairs and maintenance of buildings such as patching walls and doors; Perform general maintenance around the facility and other related maintenance activities; meal preparation maintenance and perform other duties as they may be assigned.
Requirements
Will be required to submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal Tribal and State Law Enforcement and submit and pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening. Work rotating shifts which will include evenings weekends and Holidays.
