POSITION SUMMARY:

This role relates to the secondary packaging and visual inspection of pharmaceutical products for Global markets in line with relevant regulatory and cGMP standards using a mixture of automatic and manual packaging lines

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packaging and/or visual inspection of Product across multiple packaging lines that can operate on a 24/7

• Set up and operate and troubleshoot Secondary packaging assembly line equipment in a biologics processing environment for plasma derived pharmaceuticals.

• Ability to learn new processes within Grifols

• This role involvescritical visual inspection tasksthat require accuratecolour differentiationand20/20 vision(corrective lenses permitted not contact lens). These visual capabilities are essential to ensure thesafety and quality controlof the product.

Recruitment Criteria

Applicantsmust have normal colour vision due to the nature of colour-based tasks performed in this role.

Acolour vision testwill be included as part of thepre-employment screening process.

Successful candidateswill be required topass a colour vision assessmentprior to receiving an employment offer.

• Completion of Batch documentation and associated records
• Reconciliation of materials
• Support new staff in knowledge transfer
• Attention of detail in duties
• Perform wrapping of pallets and associated SAP transaction when required
• Ensure Training is up to date
• Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader/Supervisor/ Management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift /move up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods - up to four (4) hours at a time.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

• Manual dexterity to perform all job functions.

• Previous experience in a Packaging or Manufacturing industry
• Competent in Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of cGMPs EU regulations and industry guidelines highly preferred.
• Belt certified (Yellow Green or Black)

Qualifications

• Minimum leaving cert from Secondary school or equivalent

• Minimum of Degree or equivalent third level education
