DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Chief Accountants-Shareholder Reporting teamis responsible formanaging andconsolidatingthe banks external financial reporting ensuring accuracy consistency and compliance across all published documents. Our department oversees the preparation and release of critical quarterly and annual reports including Supplemental Financial Information (SFI) Supplemental Regulatory Disclosure (SRD) Report to Shareholders (RTS) Earnings News Release (ENR) and the Annual Report (AR).We place strong emphasis onmaintainingconsistency in both numerical data and formatting with rigorous rounding and reconciliation processes to ensure all published figures are correct throughout our reports.
Our team collaborates closely to handle translation printing of hard cover books and ensures all online reports are AODA compliant. Comprising dedicated professionalsincluding a Senior Manager three Managers and a Senior Analystwe support the banks Investor Relations website and strive to deliver reporting that reflects a unified voice and look. Duringquarterend our work is fast-paced and deadline-driven requiring attention to detail and adaptability. JOB DESCRIPTION
As an intern your roleis vital in supporting both project-based initiatives and ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) processes within the department. You will primarily work with the Manager and the Senior Analyst but may also collaborate with other team members especially during quarter-end periods when workload and deadlines intensify.
Assistin the preparation and finalization of quarterly and annual financial reports ensuring accuracy and consistency in all figures and wording.
Support the review and formatting of reports for publication on the Investor Relations Website.
Contribute to initiatives for improving report presentation includingtranslationsand ensuring AODA complianceforonline documents.
Participate in multi-way reconciliation and cross-checking of data across various reports tomaintaindata integrity.
Help coordinate with external vendors or departments for printing formatting and regulatory submissions.
Perform ongoing maintenance of financial data including rounding consistency and cross-report validation.
Conduct routine document reviews for spelling grammar and formatting errors.
Regularly update spreadsheets and Word documentsutilizingExcel and Word skills including macros where applicable.
Support the team in adhering to regulatory and reporting deadlines especially during high-pressure quarter-end periods.
Provide administrative support such as organizing files tracking timelines and assisting in the preparation of supplemental regulatory disclosures.

Currently enrolledthird or fourth year ofanundergraduate degreein Finance AccountingEconomics BusinessAdministration or related fields;with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term(requirement of all co-op/intern positions)
Financial Knowledge:Understanding offinancial statements external reporting and regulatory documents.
Document Review:Experience checking documents for accuracy and consistency including spelling and grammar.
Excel & Word:Advanced skills required; ability to format excel spreadsheets and word documents.
Attention to Detail:Consistently match figuresmaintainprofessional formatting and wording.
Teamwork & Communication:Work collaboratively adapt to fast-paced periods and communicate clearly.
Problem Solving & Initiative:Propose and persist with process improvements respond constructively to feedback.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations especially during quarter-end reporting.
Strong communicationand collaboration skills; ask questions and seek clarity when needed.
Willingness to work overtime or weekends during peak reporting periods.
