Job Summary

The Facilities Logistics Coordinator provides a variety of administrative and facility logistic services at CMIs customer in Washington DC.

Must be able to operate a forklift and lift/move at least 50 pounds.

Key Job Functions

  • Manages the CMMS work order system entering service requests and data entry for closing out preventive maintenance work orders and service requests and runs reports from the work order system as needed.
  • Receives non-Collections deliveries and delivers the items to recipients.
  • Assists with Collections-related deliveries as requested by the Director of Operations or Collections staff.
  • Manage Operations warehouse inventory (furniture building supplies office supplies) and responsible for maintaining inventory properly storing items and pulling items for use as requested.
  • Assists with property disposal processes including receiving deliveries of property inventorying property for excess and reporting to the Manager of Support Services applying excess inventory tags and assisting with pickups at the customer site.
  • Handles furniture set ups for special events including town hall meetings and mission trips as required.
  • Provide facilities management oversight inspecting facilities and reporting issues to the appropriate staff
  • Inspects conference meeting and hotel spaces to ensure they are appropriately stocked with supplies and furniture in place and in working order.
  • Serves as an escort for service contractors as needed.

 


Qualifications :

  • High School diploma BA degree preferred
  • Shall possess commensurate experience to perform the duties of the position.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must have computer literacy and proficiency in the use of the National Computerized Maintenance Management System (NCMMS) and/or Maximo
  • Required to work with in-house customer staff on routine and emergency activities.
  • Shall possess all required registrations certifications and licenses required by State and local jurisdictions and any specific requirements.
  • Must be able to lift/move heavy objects (50 pounds) climb vertical ladders operate forklifts and other lift equipment distinguish colors and be proficient in the use of common hand and power tools.
  • Shall demonstrate a good working knowledge of facilities management in order to manage service requests
  • Great customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be proactive and organized.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass government background check.
