- Prepare rates and organize company information for Global & Key Account Customers RFI and RFPs requesting worldwide pricing for all ocean products.
- Support all tender-related activities in the APAC Region.
- Support the entire tender process which includes the development of response format/pricing matrix / responding to queries and timely submission of RFI RFP and RFQ to Bid Owner / Customer.
- Coordinate and manage the information flow from the sales lead other sales team members and internal service/rate providers to create a complete and professional customer proposal within the required time parameters.
- Assist in ensuring pricing reviews with Ocean Product Sales Key Account Management and MDs as appropriate for qualified business opportunities
- Interface with other function groups such as IT Key Account Management Marketing & Sales Ocean Product Finance delivering customer-
- driven services and solutions.
- Support the development and maintenance of a knowledge pricing database of current transportation rates logistics/distribution rates and company information to support tender requests.
- Follow up with bid owners on post-bid analysis for all bids both successful and unsuccessful tenders and ensure that received tender feedback is shared with relevant functions in the organization
- Recommend pricing strategies and provide pricing analysis.
