POSITION SUMMARY
This role focuses on maximizing the hotels media exposure through strong relationships with media and KOLs while ensuring smooth internal communication. All visibility efforts are ultimately aimed at contributing to overall revenue.

CRITICAL TASKS
Support the development and execution of PR and marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and strengthen the hotels positioning both internally and externally
Manage media and influencer relations including handling inquiries coordinating interviews and supporting media visits and press coverage
Create and manage brand-aligned communications including press releases newsletters and social media content
Plan execute and follow up on PR events press events media tours and promotional activations in alignment with brand standards and business objectives
Monitor and report on media exposure and PR performance providing insights to support continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales F&B Rooms Digital and other departments) to ensure consistent messaging and integrated marketing efforts
Support the hotels role as a brand ambassador ensuring all communications and guest-facing activities reflect Marriott brand values and hospitality standards
Assist with administrative and coordination tasks related to Sales & Marketing activities as required
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders including media influencers government organizations and internal teams
Ability to develop brand-aligned content including press releases newsletters and social media communications
Ability to build and maintain media relationships and manage media inquiries and interview coordination
Ability to understand PR and marketing strategies and translate them into effective execution
Ability to plan execute and follow up on PR-related events to maximize impact and exposure
Ability to analyze media coverage and PR performance and report insights effectively
Ability to collaborate across teams and contribute to shared goals
Ability to act as a brand ambassador demonstrating a strong hospitality mindset and professional demeanor
Ability to work in a proactive adaptable and fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EducationHigh school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent
Language proficiencyJapanese: Native level required
English: Business-level proficiency preferred
Computer skillProficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and PowerPoint
Related Work ExperienceAt least 3 year of related work experience
Supervisory ExperienceNo supervisory experience is required
