About the Role
We are introducing a new position in our Uncrewed Platform Division to strengthen planning capabilities for advanced maritime systems. As Planning Manager you will play a role in bridging strategic objectives with operational execution ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects and production activities. This position is part of the Operations Department reporting directly to VP Operations and may include personnel responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Master Scheduling: Develop and manage production and project schedules across multiple sites and programs.
- Resource & Capacity Planning: Analyze workload optimize resource allocation and maintain ERP data integrity.
- Coordination & Compliance: Ensure coordination with internal and external stakeholders and alignment with contractual requirements and internal procedures.
- Performance Monitoring: Track progress against milestones identify deviations early and implement corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive standardization of planning practices and support Lean initiatives.
Personal characteristics
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of project management principles
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work across multiple programs and sites
Experience & Education
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management Operations Management or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in planning scheduling or operations within a manufacturing or project-driven environment
- Experience with project- and resource planning
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP Oracle AX or similar)
- Experience with manufacturing of marine products and solutions is seen as positive
- Familiarity with quality standards continuous improvement and data analytics tools is a plus
