Contributes to the overall success of theGlobal OperationsTaxReportingteamfor globally held assets in Prime brokerage Scotia Capital Inc. Scotia Wealth Management ITRADEScotiaTrust BNS Custody Services and BNS Foreign Subsidiariesensuring specific individual goals plans initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the teams business strategies and activities conductedare in compliance withgoverning regulations internal policies and procedures

Is this role right for you In this role you will:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships andleveragebroader Bank relationshipssystemsand knowledge.
  • Support team by planning and coordinatingday to dayactivities andprovideany additional support.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timelines/work back schedules are respected for on timedelivery
  • Ensure accuracy in all documentations and deliverables
  • Analyzeresults/ findings for process improvements
  • Summarize results and highlight wins and key opportunities of bank initiatives
  • Assistin development of report to share with internal and external partners
  • Explore and learnaspects of Scotiabank dutiesrelevantto tax treatments and oversee the tax slip production and distribution to all clients.
  • Play a crucial role in ensuring that Scotiabank reputation is protected by adhering to Scotiabank compliance and risk framework.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of the Tax Reporting Dept. ismaintainedata high levelin accordance withapproved policy and procedures
  • Collaborateina high-performancesettingandcontribute toan inclusive work environment.
