About the Position Position/Specialty: Nuclear Med Tech Start Date: Start date will be 2-3 weeks from offer Shift: Monday-Friday 7A - 330P with rotating call 7 days a week Weekend Req (Y/N): call only Holiday Req (Y/N): call only Will this traveler float between service lines yes General Nuc Med and Cardiology Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Required/Preferred Years of Experience Required: 3 Years Accepts first time travelers: Yes Certs/License Required: BLS must be NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certified Certs/License Preferred: ARRT (CT) would be a plus but is NOT required. Education Preferred: B.S. or B.A. preferred State License Required: SCQRSA(State License) in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography Experience Required: Bone scans (whole body and 3 phase) HIDA scans GI Bleed Lymphoscintigraphy Parathyroid imaging Thyroid uptake Renal scans with Lasix Lung scans MUGA scans WBC infection imaging and MPI stress tests. Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule: Approval prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Radius rule Yes 60 miles. At 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility need. Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
