Looking to break into the electrical trade Roman Electric Co. Inc. is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Construction Wiremen (CWs). This is a great opportunity for those who are ready to get hands-on experience in the electrical industry and grow their skills while working alongside seasoned professionals in real-world settings.

Whether youre a recent graduate or simply eager to get started in a skilled trade this position provides the training tools and support to help you succeed.

What Youll Do:

• Assist with Installations: Help install electrical systems wiring fixtures and equipment according to plans and codes under the guidance of experienced electricians.
• Support on the Job Site: Transport materials and tools maintain inventory and help keep job sites organized and efficient.
• Follow Safety Practices: Uphold all safety standards and promptly report any hazards or incidents to supervisors.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance: Learn to conduct basic maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and Understand Blueprints: Begin developing the ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to support project tasks.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with journeyman electricians and others to meet project goals and quality standards.
• Gain Shop Experience: Assist in our pre-fabrication shop to help prepare electrical components for installation.
• Learn and Grow: Take full advantage of on-the-job training to build your electrical knowledge and prepare for future advancement.

What Were Looking For:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interest in the electrical field; vocational training or coursework is a plus
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced hands-on environment
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in varying conditions including outdoor environments

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Comfortable working at heights and in diverse weather conditions
• Able to bend kneel climb and stand for long periods

Work Environment:

• Construction sites and industrial settings
• May include both indoor and outdoor work depending on project needs
