New Holland Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our administrative team. The Title Clerk is responsible for processing vehicle titles registrations and related documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely completion of all title work while supporting a smooth vehicle sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vehicle titles registrations license plates and related documents for new and used vehicle sales
- Prepare and submit title applications to the appropriate state agencies within required timeframes
- Verify accuracy of contracts odometer statements lien information and supporting documentation
- Maintain organized records of title work and ensure proper filing and document retention
- Follow up on title discrepancies missing documents and title corrections
- Communicate with customers lenders auctions and state motor vehicle departments as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state federal and dealership policies and procedures
- Assist with auditing title paperwork and resolving title issues promptly
- Support accounting and sales departments with title-related inquiries
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a Title Clerk or in automotive dealership administration preferred
- Knowledge of DMV/title regulations (state-specific knowledge a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or additional coursework in business or accounting a plus
- 1 years of automotive title processing experience preferred
