You will be at the heart of Modernas Clinical Development Operations (CDO) analytics transformation reporting to the Director Business Analytics & Operations Management. This strategic role is responsible for designing and implementing robust financial and operational data systems and tools that drive decision-making and forecasting accuracy. By applying advanced analytics and insights youll enable optimized study design planning vendor negotiations and cost forecasting across the clinical portfolio. With a strong emphasis on data governance innovation and automation this role partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive high-impact business outcomes. Its a dynamic opportunity to shape how data fuels Modernas clinical development success all from a key hub in Toronto.

Heres What Youll Do:

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Designing implementing and maintaining systems and tools to support predictive analytics and benchmarking for clinical study delivery and cost forecasting

  • Driving cross-functional collaborations to convert clinical business needs into actionable analytical solutions

  • Managing and analyzing large and complex datasets using data wrangling modeling and pipeline development techniques

  • Overseeing internal and external system implementations related to financial and operational analytics for clinical development

  • Delivering accurate and timely insights through dashboards and monthly reporting to track therapeutic area indication study and task-level performance metrics

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Leading business analytics projects with scalability and best-practice methodology in mind

  • Supporting CDO and R&D Finance in establishing best-in-class systems training and processes for financial planning and clinical study forecasting

  • Providing subject matter expertise in clinical budget forecasting accruals reporting variance analysis and long-range financial planning

  • Modeling clinical study spend developing and maintaining accurate clinical cost models and assumptions

  • Facilitating data-sharing assessments with internal and external partners while applying data governance and master data management principles to ensure quality and consistency

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelors Masters or PhD from a top-tier institution and relevant experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a clinical research environment within the pharmaceutical CRO and biotech industry inclusive of data analytics experience

  • Direct experience in implementation and management of clinical pricing benchmarking tools and systems to support operational & financial aspects of clinical studies.

  • Experience developing and executing analytic solutions to address key business questions with measurable outcomes and insights

  • Track record of establishing effective business relationships with internal and external customers demonstrating strong collaboration skills commitment to relationship building and a relentless focus in delivering on commitments.

  • Has a passion for hands-on data analytics and business strategy projects

  • Analytical reasoning abilities intellectual curiosity strong business acumen and creativity in problem-solving

  • Experienced Programmer in VBA SQL Tableau Power BI Spotfire

  • Strong skills in database design and management

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think/act strategically

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic cross-functional matrix environment

Relevant du Directeur Analytique daffaires et Gestion des opérations vous serez responsable de la conception de la mise en œuvre et de loptimisation des outils et systèmes danalytique et financiers soutenant les opérations cliniques (CDO). Grâce à votre expertise vous générerez des perspectives concrètes pour appuyer la planification des études les décisions de gouvernance les négociations avec les fournisseurs et lexactitude des prévisions. Ce poste stratégique et individuel situé à Toronto offre une opportunité unique de faire progresser la transformation numérique de la fonction clinique de Moderna tout en collaborant avec des partenaires internes et externes dans un environnement dynamique et innovant.

Vos principales responsabilités seront :

  • Concevoir mettre en œuvre et maintenir des outils danalytique prédictive pour évaluer la performance opérationnelle et financière des études cliniques

  • Collaborer avec les parties prenantes pour transformer les besoins daffaires en solutions analytiques concrètes

  • Gérer et analyser des ensembles de données complexes en utilisant des techniques avancées de traitement de modélisation et dautomatisation

  • Diriger des projets dimplantation de systèmes internes et externes liés à lanalytique clinique et à la prévision budgétaire

  • Produire des tableaux de bord et rapports mensuels précis et innovants assurant la transparence des indicateurs clés au niveau des TAs indications études et tâches

Vos responsabilités comprendront également :

  • Diriger des projets danalytique daffaires selon les meilleures pratiques et en pensant à leur évolutivité

  • Collaborer avec les fonctions CDO et les finances R&D pour établir des systèmes formations et processus optimaux en matière de planification financière des études cliniques

  • Fournir une expertise dans les prévisions budgétaires les analyses de variance les rapports décarts et la planification financière à long terme

  • Modéliser les coûts des études cliniques et maintenir ou développer les systèmes de modélisation des dépenses

  • Évaluer et mettre en œuvre les échanges de données avec les partenaires internes et externes tout en assurant la gouvernance des données et la gestion des données maîtres

  • Expérience directe dans la mise en œuvre et la gestion doutils et de systèmes de tarification clinique et danalyse comparative pour soutenir les aspects opérationnels et financiers des études cliniques

  • Expérience démontrée dans le développement et lexécution de solutions analytiques permettant de répondre à des questions daffaires clés et de générer des résultats et perspectives mesurables

  • Solide expérience dans létablissement de relations daffaires efficaces avec des partenaires internes et externes en faisant preuve de collaboration dengagement dans les relations interpersonnelles et de rigueur dans le respect des engagements
