Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

Under limited supervision of the Program Coord. II responsible for the management of the dairy operations to include but not limited to:
Strategic planning selective breeding milking feeding forage crop storage feed formulations replacement production sales purchasing of supplies waste management staff scheduling and operations.
This position is located at the Wateree Farm Dairy in Rembert SC

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A bachelors degree and relevant program experience.

SCDC Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma and ten (10) years experience in management of a large dairy.

An associates degree in a relevant field and eight (8) years experience in management of a large dairy.

A bachelors degree in a relevant field and (6) years experience in management of a large dairy.
Experience must include five (5) years experience in hay and forage production and storage and five (5) years supervisory experience.
