Job Summary

Main Responsibilities 

We are looking for a Master Data Business Process Owner for the Asia region to lead the following activities: 

Project Execution & Coordination 

  • Coordinates across teams (Business Rollout Migration team) to ensure alignment on planning mapping and reconciliation 
  • Coordinate resolution and questions within the BPO team and across teams as necessary 
  • Manage resources (if assigned) 

  • Leads status reporting on migration and cleansing activities  

  • Uses standardized templates and Jira for tracking migration steps  

Data Migration 

  • Acts as the central point for executing migration activities in sync with SAP S/4 Hana implementation program (BOLD) and front offices Data Migration Leads. 

  • Overseas the full migration lifecycle: scoping data collection transformation loading and reconciliation  

  • Validate approach for master data definition across systems and for migration activities including quality & consistency controls. 

  • Review and validate pre- and post-migration data quality checks especially for counterparties (e.g. name address tax ID bank details)  

  • Coordinates Group Master Data System (EBX) checks and data loads ensuring proper interfacing with BOLD systems  

  • Aligns with EBX Migration Team and MDM Business Process Owner for validation and publication of master data  

Data Integration 

  • Acts as the central point for gap analysis for integrating MDM core model across applications (Front & back offices mainly) while understanding specific local requirements 

  • Ensures compliance with MDM Core Model processes and country-specific requirements 

  • Participates in Back & Front office Design decisions.  

  • Collect and Validate Requirements:Gather and confirm requirements from business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational needs. 

  • Collaborate with DT&A:Work closely with DT&A to develop a data model that meets the requirements of all stakeholders. 

  • Drive gap resolutionidentified during projects and continuous improvement activities by assessing their impact on the global Core model. Analyze and resolvespecific local process and data requirements in collaboration with business and project teams with the support from MDM BPO. 

User Support & Change management 

  • Train and Activate:Provide training to all impacted stakeholders and oversee the activation of new processes. Supportthe BPO team in understanding and presenting the MDM Core model and processes to local teams and facilitate knowledge sharingamong MDM BPO team members. 

  • Ensure Hypercare Support:Manage the hypercare period by offering quick solutions and support to users. 

The employee should have a good understanding of Master Data appetite to interact with cross-functional & various project teams and have a strong process knowledge (best practices key controls etc). He/She should also have a solid experience on IT projects ideally related to Master Data processes for Accounting Treasury and Controlling. 

 

Experience 

7 years minimum of strong operational experience ideally mixing: 

  • Master Data experience (processes model control framework governance) across business applications (with strong focus on SAP) & other integration tools  

  • Experience in IT projects: functional end-to-end process / organization / methodology design & deployment project management and integration with other projects 

  • Understanding of underlying system architecture IT tools and IT implications 

  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other business organizations; successful experience in working with diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment. 

 

Other skills (Computer Skills etc) 

  • Exceptional organizational ability with a strong attention to detail 

  • Strong ability to gather & analyze information define problems and form an action plan. 

  • Strong ability to manage stakeholders convince manage in non-hierarchical / project mode. 

  • Evident ability to analyze and challenge workflows being analytical and synthetic. 

  • Strong organizational ability with a very strong attention to detail. 

  • Strong sense of autonomy and ownership of this role. 

  • Strong ability to work independently 

  • Ability and flexibility to work across time zones 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Ability to work under time pressure and result oriented. 

  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies. 

 

Languages:  

  • English (fluent mandatory)

 

Traveling: 

  • Willingness to travel within the Group when required 

 

Academics 

Leading business school Leading Engineer School University degree in Business Administration with a major in: 

  • Information System and/or  

  • Finance/Accounting and/or 

  • Process & organization management 

  • BSc with equivalent experience and project management/methodology certificate
