Position summary
We are looking for an experienced senior hands-on HR professional to oversee and manage HR operations Ad Terra s regional office in Asia based in Kuala Lumpur.
This role is focused on practical execution and operational excellence with a strong emphasis on recruitment HR administration compliance and employee relations. It combines strong operational responsibility with a high degree of autonomy supporting business growth talent acquisition and workforce stability in a lean project-driven international environment.
Key responsibilities
HR Operations & Core Processes
- Own and manage HR operations across the full employee lifecycle for Ad Terra
- Prepare and manage employment contracts amendments and HR documentation
- Coordinate payroll benefits visas and HR administration with external service providers
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor law and local HR regulations
- Manage employee relations matters and provide hands-on HR support to managers
- Maintain HR records reporting and key operational HR indicators
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Support
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end recruitment with a strong focus on technical project-based and senior profiles
- Support onboarding offboarding and workforce coordination in line with business requirements
- Work closely with management on staffing needs and operational priorities
External Relations & Professional Networks
- Build and leverage professional networks within the Oil & Gas energy and industrial ecosystem to support recruitment and business needs
- Contribute to reinforcing Ad Terras professional reputation with relevant stakeholders in line with Group positioning
- Act as a local HR reference for internal stakeholders and selected external partners
- Participate when relevant in professional HR or energy-related networks and events
Alignment
- Work closely with HR at headquarters to ensure consistency with policies processes and standards
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR practices across the region
Profile & experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
- 1015 years of HR experience combining strong operational expertise with senior-level judgment
- Experience in Oil & Gas energy engineering or industrial environments
- Proven track record in recruiting technical and senior profiles
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor law and HR best practices
- Experience working in dynamic project-driven organizations
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced international environment requiring flexibility and adaptability when business needs require it
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures
- Pragmatic execution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Professional reliable and comfortable operating in a lean organization
