Accounts Receivable Processor

Location: Hudson
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. (½ hour unpaid lunch)
Rate of Pay: $20.34 per hour
The Accounts Receivable Processor position is well suited for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with numbers systems and processes in a collaborative environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in accounts receivable or general business operations who is looking to contribute their skills while continuing to grow within a supportive organization. As a member of the Finance Department the Accounts Receivable Processor will join an experienced and dedicated finance team committed to accuracy teamwork and supporting the agencys mission through strong financial operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts receivable and financial transaction processing to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Bill or voucher all agency services to appropriate funding sources
- Prepare verify and process invoices for services rendered
- Collect and process all checks and cash received on a daily basis for deposit
- Verify proper coding of payments and enter cash receipts into the computerized accounting system
- Maintain accurate records to support data entry and reconciliation
- Maintain organized and current customer files and accounts receivable documentation
- Complete miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Office Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in business accounting or accounts receivable preferred
