About the Role:
The primary focus of the Operations Manager position is to perform all duties associated with maintaining a safe and productive work environment for the recycling operation and involves regular communication with all Management Administration Warehouse Maintenance and Transportation staff.
An Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an office ensuring it functions efficiently and effectively. They manage administrative tasks coordinate with various departments and handle a range of duties to keep the office running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Managing schedules appointments and meetings.
- Office Operations: Ordering supplies maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Vendor Relations: Managing contracts negotiating prices and handling vendor inquiries.
- Communication: Serving as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
- Coordination: Collaborating with HR IT and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Budget Management: Tracking expenses managing budgets and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Employee Support: Addressing employee inquiries providing assistance and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Event Planning: Organizing company events team-building activities and other gatherings.
- Onboarding: Supporting new employees with IT setup introductions and other onboarding procedures.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies safety regulations and legal requirements.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Associates degree and/or 5 plus years of experience in a plant or general management role.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Strong Organizational Skills: Essential for managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Needed to interact with staff clients and vendors.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Customer Service Skills: Providing friendly and helpful support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in all tasks and documentation.
- Proficiency in Office Software: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to Work Independently: Managing tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Handling a variety of tasks and changing priorities.
- Positive Attitude and Work Ethic: Contributing to a positive and productive work
