Job Summary

Electrical Draftsperson is responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings

using CAD software collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to

ensure compliance with industry standards maintaining accurate documentation

and preparing Bill of Materials (BOMs). Essential qualifications include proficiency

in CAD software like AutoCAD & PVcase a strong understanding of electrical

systems and good problem-solving and communication skills.

Design and Drafting:

Prepare and update electrical drawings SLD schematics and layouts.

Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to produce technical plans

and blueprints.

Develop 3D models and extract 2D drawings as per requirement

Technical Compliance:

Review project requirements specifications and design concepts from

engineers to ensure accuracy.

Ensure drawings and designs comply with industry standards codes and

regulations

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with engineers project managers and other team

members to resolve design issues and implement solutions.

Provide technical information and ideas to support the engineering

team.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of design changes and follow document

control procedures.

Prepare and assemble comprehensive documentation packages.

Quality Assurance:

Check technical drafts for accuracy in calculations measurements and

units.

Perform quality checks on drawings for function fit and submission.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD PVcase).

Strong attention to detail and precision.

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and sketches.

Familiarity with electrical systems and their components.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and

stakeholders
