Role: Accounts Manager
Location: Hull
Salary: Up to 60000
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and forward thinking accountancy practice in Hull. The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager to take ownership of a varied client portfolio and play a key role in the continued development of the practice.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Manager role include:
Managing a portfolio of owner managed businesses across a range of sectors
Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
Acting as the main point of contact for clients providing proactive advice and support
Leading and mentoring junior and senior team members
Managing workflows deadlines and allocation of work within the team
Identifying advisory opportunities and supporting business development where appropriate
Maintaining high technical and service standards across the portfolio
Requirements of the Accounts Manager role include:
Strong UK accountancy practice experience is essential
ACA or ACCA qualified or highly experienced and qualified by experience
Proven experience managing a client portfolio
Confident reviewing work and leading a team
Strong communication skills and a client focused approach
Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
