TheExecutive Director of Admissionsprovides strategic datainformed andoperationalleadershipfor the Office of collaboration withMichigan State Universitys(MSU)academic administrative and Enrollment Servicesleadership the Executive Directoroversees thefull undergraduateadmissionsprocess.
The ExecutiveDirectoroversees domestictransfer international and digital recruitmenteffortshighschooland community collegerelationscampus visit role also providesoperationaloversight ofapplication processing for graduate and professional programs.
Theposition is highly collaborative and interacts regularly with senior leaders faculty staff and external serves as a keycontributorto institutionalstudent success initiatives including the implementation of new student-focused technologies anda modernizedcustomer relations software andenterprise Student Information System.

International and domestic travel isrequired.
Thisposition is based in East Lansing Michigan on the campus of Michigan State University.

Masters
Required Experience:
Leading large-scale admissions operations with at least five years of experience in progressive leadership overseeing broad domestic and international recruitment portfolios in a college or university setting.
Supervisingteams at the assistant/associatedirectorslevelfora minimum of three years.
Demonstratingthe ability to achieveenrollmentgoals through data-informed planning yield strategies and measurable outcomes.
Expandingprospective student marketsacrossin-state out-of-statetransferand international segments.
Advancingaccessand student successwith admissions strategy.
Buildingandmanaginghigh performingteams; leadingorganizational change; andfacilitatingcollaborative decision-makingincomplexenvironments.
Executingstrategic planninginitiatives anddriveschangeleadershipaligned to institutional priorities.

Maintainingcompliance with Federal State and university regulations related to student recruitment and admissionsreview process.

Managingpersonnelbudget and resources toaccomplishenrollmentobjectives.
Evaluatingtechnologicalneeds recommendinginvestments that support admissions operations.
Ensuringefficient processingthroughpolicy procedures and workflowdesign.
Collaboratingeffectively withacademic and administrativepartnersincluding thedeansadvising unitsdepartment headsmarketing and communicationfunctionsfinancialaid registrar planning and budget controllerinstitutional research ITinternational student services office(s) student success units and others to achieve enrollment goals.
Supportingseamlesstransition and onboarding includingnew student orientation studentsuccessand transferstakeholders.
Providingtimelyreporting forecasting and analysis ofenrollment outcomesto senior leadership.
