The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) Special Services Division is actively recruiting an experienced and dedicated professional to serve as Corrections Records Director. This position is located in Montgomery Alabama and provides a competitive salary range for qualified applicants.
The Correctional Records Director is a permanent full-time position with the Alabama Department of Corrections. This is specialized administrative work in directing the maintenance of all past and present state inmate records.
Applicants must apply directly to the State Personnel Department and meet the requirements below:
Bachelors degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in Public Administration Business Administration Criminal Justice Legal Studies or Social Sciences.
Two years of progressively responsible experience in administration or management preferably in a correctional field including one (1) year of experience utilizing computer operations.
Six (6) months experience in correctional records work.
For the promotional register current permanent status as a Correctional Records Assistant Director Correctional Records Supervisor or Classification Specialist Supervisor in addition to the qualifications listed above.
