Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who is responsible for the planning and implementation of the selected data system as well as project developers for all enhancements or fixes identified throughout the life of the contract. Project developers will work closely with the State of Illinois system maintenance staff to transfer system knowledge for enhancements and fixes.

Responsibilities:

Experience in technical leadership including previous experience in generating project schedules including reviewing and updating the schedule on a regular basis.
Ability to rapidly prioritize competing requirements by assigning configuration and development tasks to analysts.
Ability to understand and simplify customer requirements by identifying documenting and ensuring follow-up on all project issues and risks.
Ability to communicate end user feedback to technical and design leads in addressing any need identified by the project team pursuant to effective completion of this project.
Strong communication skills in controlling the budget and managing the project resources allocation by providing budget burn-down charts status updates and a monthly timesheet billable report.
Proven knowledge of industry standards for monitoring of project execution and weekly project status conference call (minutes sent to customer).
