We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler with strong expertise in CPG domain data to design optimize and govern enterprise data models supporting large-scale data warehousing and analytics platforms. The role focuses on enabling high-performance analytical reporting for sales trade promotion supply chain and retail insights.

• Design and develop conceptual logical and physical data models for enterprise data warehouses and analytical platforms.

• Create data models aligned to CPG business processes including sales trade promotions supply chain and retail analytics.

• Apply best practices in dimensional modeling including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema designs.

• Work closely with ETL and data engineering teams to ensure accurate data integration transformation and loading processes.

• Optimize data structures to ensure performance scalability maintainability and data consistency.

• Support data validation reconciliation and impact analysis during data ingestion and transformation.

• Partner with data engineers architects and Product Owners to understand existing data models.

• Refactor and modernize legacy data models to support evolving analytics and platform modernization initiatives.

• Define document and enforce data modeling standards naming conventions and best practices.

• Maintain comprehensive data model documentation and metadata to support enterprise data governance.

• Ensure compliance with data governance and master data management (MDM) principles.

• Analyze and improve query performance through efficient schema design indexing strategies and data partitioning.

• Support performance troubleshooting and optimization initiatives across reporting and analytics workloads.

• Data Modeling (Primary Skill)

• Strong hands-on experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin

• Expertise in relational and dimensional modeling (Star Schema Snowflake Schema)

• Strong CPG / Retail domain knowledge

• Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Teradata

• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of ETL processes

• Knowledge of data governance and MDM principles

• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment
