Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description:
Own statutory audit deliverables and liaise with internal teams and external auditors
Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and oversee reporting accuracy
Manage relationships with third-party service providers
Identify process gaps and implement improvements for ongoing compliance
Support tax VAT and transfer pricing requirements
Provide guidance to finance teams across multiple African entities
Skills & Experience:
In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards (including IFRS 9 15 and 16)
Proven track record in managing audits and financial statement preparation
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and influence stakeholders effectively
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
Qualification:
Degree in Accounting/Finance (non-negotiable)
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA CIMA CPA)
