Academic Accreditation Coordinator - Remote
Full-time 40 hours Monday - Friday
Summary:
The Accreditation Coordinator in partnership with the Accreditation Manager is responsible for supporting the compliance regulations for all Nuvance Health Learning Institute divisions. This position supports the Accreditation Manager and AVP with the implementation of strategic initiatives to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach across all service lines. The position is responsible for assisting the Accreditation Manager in ensuring compliance with program and departmental accreditation requirements and all applicable state regulations for medical education training programs. This position supports programs in in maintaining appropriate accreditation oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provides administrative support for the accreditation process including scheduling meetings coordinating site visits and preparing necessary documents.
- Documentation Management: Works with programs to maintain and organize all accreditation-related documentation ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Assists in collecting compiling and analyzing data required for accreditation reports and self-studies.
- Communication: Facilitates communication between faculty staff administrators and accreditation manager ensuring all parties are informed of accreditation processes and requirements.
- Training and Education: Helps organize training sessions and workshops to educate faculty and staff on accreditation standards and processes.
- Project Coordination: Works with the accreditation manager to coordinate accreditation projects ensuring that tasks are completed on time and milestones are met.
- Review and Compliance Monitoring: Supports the accreditation manager in monitoring the programs adherence to accreditation standards and identify areas that require improvement.
- Site Visit Preparation: Assists in preparing for accreditation site visits including logistics documentation and scheduling.
- Continuous Improvement Support: Supports continuous quality improvement initiatives related to accreditation.
- Feedback Collection: Gathers feedback from various stakeholders to inform the accreditation process and improve program quality.
- Technical Assistance: Provides technical assistance in the preparation of accreditation documents and the use of accreditation management software and residency management software.
- Policy and Procedure Documentation: Assists in documenting and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Maintains and Models Nuvance Health Values.
- Demonstrates regular reliable and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2 years of experience focused on medical education or accreditation or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize information
- Problem-solving skills
