Position summary

GlobalConnect is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to develop and manage relationships with housing associations large public housing companies and major commercial real estate owners across Denmark. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping long-term account strategies negotiating frame and service agreements and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and commercial outcomes for fiber infrastructure services.

Key responsibilities

  • Client relationship management
    • Own and deepen relationships with key stakeholders at housing associations large public housing companies and major commercial real estate owners.
    • Act as primary GlobalConnect contact for strategic accounts ensuring proactive communication and timely resolution of issues.
    • Build trust-based partnerships by understanding clients organisational priorities procurement cycles and technical requirements.
  • Commercial development & contract negotiation
    • Work closely with sales and fullfilment partners to optimize GlobalConnects go to market efforts
    • Lead commercial negotiations and draft frame agreements and master service contracts tailored to large housing portfolios and commercial owners.
    • Work cross-functionally with legal commercial engineering and delivery teams to structure viable commercial terms SLAs and pricing models.
    • Drive upsell and expansion of services across existing portfolios (e.g. fiber-to-the-home dark fiber connectivity solutions managed services).
  • Market & account strategy
    • Develop and execute account plans and go-to-market strategies specifically for the housing association sector.
    • Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and across the wider housing market.
    • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to shape GlobalConnect offerings and positioning.
  • Delivery coordination & stakeholder management
    • Coordinate internal stakeholders (project managers operations installation teams) to ensure smooth delivery against contractual commitments.
    • Ensure exceptions change requests and incident escalations are handled swiftly and transparently.
  • Performance measurement & reporting
    • Maintain accurate account documentation and forecast revenue pipeline and risk.
    • Report progress contract status and commercial performance to the Sales Director Denmark and other senior stakeholders.

Required experience & qualifications

  • Proven experience (typically 37 years) in key account management or strategic sales ideally with direct exposure to housing associations public housing companies large commercial real estate owners or municipalities.
  • Demonstrable experience negotiating frame agreements and service contracts with large portfolio owners or institutional clients.
  • Experience selling infrastructure telecom or connectivity solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience working with commercial terms pricing models and SLAs.
  • Bachelors degree in business engineering telecommunications or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project coordination skills and experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken).
  • Self-motivated results-driven with a high degree of organisation and attention to detail.

Success metrics / KPIs

  • Growth in revenue and margin from assigned housing association accounts.
  • Number and value of frame agreements signed with housing portfolios and large property owners.
  • Customer satisfaction / Net Promoter Score (or equivalent client feedback metric).
  • Pipeline coverage and conversion rate for strategic opportunities.
  • On-time / on-budget delivery rate against contractual commitments.
