Were looking for a dynamic leader to head our Communications and Engagement team at Manatū Taonga. This is your chance to influence how Aotearoa sees itself through stories that matter and strategies that connect.

The role
As Manager Communications & Engagement youll lead a team of specialists driving the Ministrys reputation engagement and strategic communications. Youll work across government the cultural sector and communities to amplify the value of arts culture and heritage for all New Zealanders. This is a leadership role where youll inspire change empower talent and deliver bold future-focused outcomes.

The person

A strategic thinker with 10 years in communications and engagement including senior leadership experience.
Expertise in brand positioning stakeholder engagement and media management.
Political savvy and the ability to navigate complex environments.
A collaborative leader who can coach and empower a high-performing team.
Commitment to strengthening MāoriCrown relationships
