Job Summary

An exciting opportunity to join a companys delivery teamthat makes a difference to Aucklands role is pivotal in providing construction supervision and project engineering services.

About you

  • Conversant with 3 waters
  • 5-10 years experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering or similar
  • Must have broadknowledge of Waterpolicies process systems & materials
  • Must have strong leadership working with cultural diversity
  • Specializing indelivering complex water wastewater and stormwater infrastructure
  • Experience in projects focusing on planning design construction and resource consenting for large scale
  • Experience with ensuring alignment with asset management plans managing budgets technical aspects and stakeholder engagement

Primary Objectives:

To complete all Civil/water work efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining a safe working environment that meets allnetwork operators standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing work schedule for positions supervised (Site Supervisors and other Operators)
  • Preparation of Project Documentation ie SWMS and Procedures etc
  • Coordinate staff to complete electrical work
  • Coordinate subcontractors involved with electrical work
  • Site Inspections and audits
  • Evaluate subcontractors for civil/water works
  • Complete and Lodge paperwork required on job completion
  • Follow up and complete all unfinished projects

Health and Safety

  • Implement the occupational health and safety policy and management plan.
  • Ensure compliance by all employees contractors and visitors with regard to both the plan and policy.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the Occupational Health and Safety Plan.
  • Ensure the occupational health and safety policy and plan are included in the planning phase of any new project.
  • Ensure safe work practices are adhered to.
  • Ensure all employees contractors and visitors comply with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan and occupational health and safety policy.

Environment

  • Implement the environmental management policy and management plan.
  • Ensure compliance by all employees contractors and visitors with regard to both the plan and policy.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the Environmental Management Plan.
  • Ensure the environmental management policy and plan are included in the planning phase of any new project.
  • Ensuring that environmental best practice is adhered to.
  • Ensuring all employees contractors and visitors comply with the requirements of the Environmental Management Plan and the Environmental policy
