Information Technology Services (ITS) provides central IT services to support the Universitys teaching learning research and administrative activities. ITS is transforming its organization to support its new strategic development and strategic adoption of new technologies. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects leveraging their technical expertise to design develop and integrate tailored software solutions.
The Role
The appointees will develop and maintain in-house and other finance systems including Oracle e-Business Suite iExpenses and Cloud Procurement. They will collect and analyze user requirements design systems perform programming and testing provide technical support and liaise with administrative offices/departmental users internally as well as solutions consultants externally.
Qualifications and Qualities
Applicants should (1) possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or a related discipline with (2) solid experience in software application development and support and (3) a good command of written and spoken English and (4) good communication analytical and problem-solving skills.
Applicants with good knowledge of and relevant experience in any of the following areas are preferred:
Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Software Developer.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years and commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.
