While we support flexible remote-friendly ways of working for this role were focusing on Sydney so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 6-month engagement working full-time hours per week.
What youd be doing in this role
As a Graphic Designer youll help shape how personalised messaging comes to life across Canvas lifecycle channels. Youll play a pivotal role in translating user insights and behaviours into relevant visual stories that guide users through their journey with Canva. This role is a blend of craft and strategy while balancing creative exploration with the discipline needed to produce high-quality scalable design systems. Youll join a team that values curiosity rapid experimentation and design excellence and your work will directly influence how hundreds of millions of users experience Canva during their most formative moments.
At the moment this role is focussed on:
- Designing on-brand visually engaging email and mobile assets tailored to user context and lifecycle stage.
- Managing the end-to-end creative process from research and concepting to execution and iteration.
- Collaborating closely with marketers product managers and fellow designers to ensure creative alignment and accuracy.
- Developing scalable templates asset libraries and design systems that support fast-paced experimentation.
- Reviewing and refine creative outputs to maintain a high standard of quality across all campaigns.
- Juggling multiple briefs at once prioritising effectively in a fast-moving deadline-driven environment.
Youre probably a match if
- You have strong visual design skills with a portfolio showcasing high-quality email mobile or digital marketing work.
- You have the ability to create fresh relevant and timely visuals tailored to specific audiences and user mindsets.
- Youre experienced in managing end-to-end design workflows including feedback iteration and quality assurance.
- You have strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining creative excellence across every output.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.

Were responsible for creating high-impact lifecycle marketing communications that guide users to value through email mobile and in-product channels. Our team thrives at the intersection of creativity and experimentation constantly learning iterating and pushing boundaries to elevate user experience. We believe great creative is a strategic lever and the work you do will influence how users engage with Canva during pivotal moments.
