Local Land Services is currently seeking to appoint a Communications Advisor to join our Operational Strategy and Performance Team!

About the Role

The Communications Advisor will help shape the way we connect with our people and this dynamic role youll craft clear engaging messages that bring our statewide initiatives to life and drive effective internal communications to keep staff informed and inspired.

We are looking for an individual who can:

  • Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies that communicate LLS priority initiatives.
  • Drive effective internal communications by creating clear messaging using multiple channels and fostering two-way engagement to keep staff informed and connected.
  • Deliver clear consistent messaging that promotes statewide initiatives and strengthens LLS brand across external channels.
  • Create concise well-structured communication and visual materials tailored for diverse platforms and audiences.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.

About You

To be successful in this role our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear engaging content for internal and external audiences
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms
  • Graphics design skills a bonus!

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications/journalism or other relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience
  • Current NSW Class C Drivers license and the ability and willingness to travel throughout NSW
