| Detailed Description: | This is a full-time temporary benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of December 31 appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding. The Assistant Director of Operations (AD) will report to the Director and will be responsible for overseeing SDRCCs operations budget and provide leadership support for fundraising efforts that advance San Diegos leadership in climate resilience solutions. The AD will support and lead grant writing and project proposal development project development manage member and SDRCC fundraising efforts; in addition they will help the Director to oversee SDRCCs budget and manage invoicing and support for payments. As available the AD will provide technical and research support needed to fulfill capacity building projects and program effort specifically in partnership with SDRCCs member agencies. They will support SDRCCs community and membership engagement and support the Director by leading member communication grant writing and additional engagement opportunities and lead SDRCC Annual Climate Leader Award Program and manage sponsorships. The San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative (SDRCC) advances climate change solutions and expertise across the San Diego Region. The University of San Diego serves as Fiscal Sponsor for the SDRCC which is currently housed in the Office of the Provost. Duties and Responsibilities:
