Chief Expert Product Management for Data

The Team

The mission of the Cloud ERP Private Product Managementteam is to serve our large installed base of customers on their transformation journeys into the private cloud and grow SAPs core business as a market leader. We work hand-in-hand with our engineering and product marketing teams as well as with our customers and partners on continuously improving our Cloud ERP Private offering. Product Management is the authoritative voice of the legitimate challenges customers face evangelizing an outcome-based product vision and roadmap that truly solves customer pain points by creating products that delight and serve the needs of SAP. Within the product management cross team we are responsible for driving the most strategic topics across our Cloud ERP Private portfolio and supporting our largest and most influential customers to ensure swift adoption.

The Role

As a Chief Expert Product Management for Data (f/m/d) youll lead and serve customer engagements to bring SAPs transformative frameworks for Business data to life. Your role will focus on thought functional- and technical leadership fostering collaboration and achieving customer success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop innovative business data and analytics concepts strategies and solutions for our clients in both national and international contexts
  • Advise on the implementation and optimization of reporting and planning solutions with SAP Business Data Cloud from requirements analysis and technical design to prototyping / proof of concept and implementation.
  • Transform and modernize existing reporting and planning systems and integrate BusinessAI with the needed high-quality data
  • Act as an expert on demand for our highperforming team of engineers; establish communities of practice and enablement programs across engineering and product.
  • Drive thought leadership in data management through patents opensource contributions conference talks and publications.
  • Establish and enforce responsible data governance: policies risk management privacy security safety model evaluation and audit readiness in alignment with global regulations.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Customer Success to define value hypotheses success metrics packaging and commercial models for data capabilities.
  • Represent Cloud ERP Private in executive forums customer briefings standards bodies and the broader data ecosystem.

What you bring

  • SAP data & analytics Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAPs Data & Analytics portfolio (SAP Datasphere SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning and Reporting) SAP Business Warehouse S/4 Embedded Analytic) as well as the correlation with SAP BusinessAISAP RISE incl. Clean Core principles and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Strong networking skills within SAP and externally with the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders including CIOs and CTOs.
  • Change Management & Customer Success: Proven success in guiding impactful digital transformations and leading change management initiatives to support adoption.
  • Strong ecosystem with the Data & Analytics space in SAP (Development Product Management Sales Enterprise Architecture) and outside (partners 3rd party vendors) to foster ideas capabilities and approaches to provide impact at customers side and having trusted feedback loops into the SAP organization to further evolve products and concepts.
  • Cross Industry Expertise / Exposure: cross industry expertise with a deep knowledge in at least one industry to discuss and build relevant Use Cases for Business data platforms in
  • Solid understanding of SAP processes in Finance Logistic Sales and Distribution Material Management etc.
  • Innovation & AI Expertise: Experience integrating AI and emerging technologies to drive transformation goals and enhance customer adoption.
  • S/4HANA & Business Transformation Expertise: S/4HANA and business transformation knowledge to identify optimization & innovation potentials in customer engagements
  • Certifications related to SAP Data & Analytics products (e.g. SAP DatasphereSAP Data Datasphere SAP Analytics Cloud SAP HANA)
  • Change Management Skills: Expertise in change management practices with a history of driving engagement and organizational change.
  • Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications such as SAP Certified Enterprise Architect TOGAF or others with recognition as a thought leader in enterprise architecture.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
