Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Data Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated BIM Coordinator to join our team. This role will coordinate Building Information Models with external design teams and clients supporting our data center design manufacturing and construction operations. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise leadership capability and a strong focus on driving innovation collaboration and process efficiency across departments.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

3 years of experience using BIM software (Revit BIM 360/ACC Revizto Tekla Navisworks) in architecture engineering or construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction means and methods design principles and engineering processes within the data center or related industrial sectors.
Strong problem-solving organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment independently and in a team.
Experience collaborating with contractors subcontractors and design teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading or mentoring BIM drafting or design teams.
Bachelors degree in relevant field (CAD drafting engineering architecture construction management).
Experience within the Data Center Construction or Racking/Material Handling industries.
Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD SolidWorks Inventor) or ability to quickly learn new software and adapt to dynamic project environments.
