Role purpose
As an Account Manager Mid-Market at Coface Switzerland you will play a key role in managing and developing relationships with mid-market clients in the French-speaking region. Your mission is to ensure exceptional service delivery by supporting account managers handling policy renewals and providing technical and administrative expertise. You will act as a trusted partner for clients and brokers contributing to their success while driving growth and reinforcing Cofaces position as a leading credit insurance provider.
YOUR MAIN MISSIONS
- Management of an existing mid-market customer portfolio in the French-speaking part of Switzerland (direct and through broker-channel) ensuring client satisfaction and growth.
- Lead and negotiate policy renewal procedures with customers and/or brokers securing optimal terms and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute account plans including upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize portfolio value.
- Maintain strong client and broker relationships through regular visits and strategic advisory support acting as a trusted partner for technical and contractual matters.
- Prepare and deliver client meeting documentation ad-hoc reporting and strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
- Manage contract documentation with full accountability for accuracy and compliance and oversee data input processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (underwriting risk claims) to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance across all administrative processes.
Qualifications :
Education
- Swiss commercial degree or equivalent
- AFA Insurance Intermediary Certificate (Non-Life module)
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in Account Management of Sales within financial services insurance or a related field.
- Good understanding of Swiss market dynamics and customer expectations.
- Proven track record in managing client portfolios and negotiating contracts.
Competencies
- Detailed oriented precise working supportive and client-oriented character
- Good understanding of complex IT systems (own programs: local and group ERP Microsoft 365)
- Ability to deliver high-quality services with tight deadlines and approach problems in an independent flexible systematic and anticipatory manner
- Result-oriented and self-motivating
- Strong organizational planning and analytical skills
- Required languages: French and English fluent in spoken and written is must-have German and or Italian would be beneficial
