12 months Fixed Term Contract - covering maternity opportunities for full contract may be available!
Location: Towcester Northamptonshire (NN12 6TF)
Pay Rate: 13.65 per hour
Weekly Hours: 42 hours per week (with overtime opportunities)
Shift Pattern: Days Nights and Weekends
We are looking for a Security Officer to join our dedicated team in Towcester within the Defence Sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong security experience who are committed to maintaining safety and confidentiality in a high-security environment.

What Youll Be Doing:
Security Patrols: Carry out regular foot and vehicle patrols across the site to detect any threats and ensure security measures are being followed.
Access Control: Control and monitor access to secure areas by verifying credentials and enforcing access protocols.
CCTV Monitoring: Stay alert and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure all operations are conducted safely.
Incident Response: Respond swiftly and appropriately to any security breaches alarms or emergencies ensuring that security protocols are followed.
Reporting & Documentation: Keep clear and accurate records of any incidents breaches or security-related activities for compliance and safety.
Health & Safety: Follow strict health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
Equipment Checks: Ensure all security equipment including alarms and surveillance systems is in working order.
Additional Information :
What We Are Looking For:
Valid SIA Licence (essential)
Born British citizen - due to client requirements
5-year checkable work history
Ability to obtain SC clearance (essential for the role)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to various shift patterns including nights and weekends
Physically fit youll be on your feet and patrolling regularly
