Job Objective/Summary: The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides comprehensive primary and preventative healthcare services to individuals and families in a clinic setting. The APRN practices independently and/or collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess diagnose treat and manage conditions across the lifespan. This role emphasizes patient-centered care health education disease prevention and community engagement in a rural environment. The APRN will round in our long-term care facility Lawrence Hall Health and Rehabilitation as instructed.
Job Education Licenses/Certifications Knowledge & Experience: Completion of an accredited nursing program. Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as an APRN. DEA license required. Must be ACLS PALS and BLS certified. Strong knowledge of nursing principals practices and procedures. Compassionate patient-centered approach.
