This on-site contract position presents an exciting opportunity for medical professionals looking to make a significant impact in patient care within the medical practice industry.
As a Locum MD you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients ensuring their health and well-being while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. This role is vital in supporting our clinics operations and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Perform routine check-ups and health screenings
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in Arizona
- Experience in family medicine or primary care settings
- Strong clinical skills and patient-focused approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient rights
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
- Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts per week Monday-Friday
- No call or weekends
Setting: Outpatient only
Patient Volume: 12-15 per day
Patient Population: Adults
Duties: Standard outpatient primary care and chronic illness treatment
Minimal GYN for symptoms as needed
Support Staff: Additional physicians midlevels and RNs
EMR: RPMS
Must be board-certified
Any active unrestricted state license accepted
