About the team and the role:

The VIP Buyer Support team supports eBays most valuable buyers on focusing on resolving complex or escalated queries transferred from our partners. The team plays a key role in protecting buyer trust and loyalty by providing thoughtful high-quality support across the eBay platform.
In this role you will handle buyer contacts primarily through inbound and outbound phone calls as well as email helping resolve issues and de-escalate concerns while delivering a consistent and positive customer experience.

What you will accomplish:

  • Resolve complex buyer queries across the eBay platform ensuring timely and accurate outcomes.
  • Act as a customer advocate by guiding buyers through eBay navigation and features.
  • De-escalate challenging interactions and communicate decisions clearly and respectfully.
  • Balance buyer needs with eBay policies when making service-related decisions.
  • Consistently meet performance metrics aligned to customer experience and service quality.
  • Contribute to new program initiatives and campaigns that strengthen buyer loyalty.

What you will bring:

  • Fluency in Italian and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a call center or customer support environment.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • A strong interest in customer experience and relationship building.
  • Comfort using technology and adapting to new tools and processes with an interest in e-commerce and eBay.
  • Eligibility to work full-time in Ireland.
