Essential Functions:

L3Harris MAPPS is seeking an experienced Finance Lead who will be responsible for financial items related to L3 Harris MAPPS change of ERP systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who collaborates cross functionally with a variety of individuals within Finance and across the organization. Must be able to effectively interface with program management and senior levels of management. The ideal candidate has a passion and ability to focus on the important business details driving key financial needs in the new system while continually assessing reasonableness understanding why something changes and determining how to achieve desired business results.

This is a highly visible role and has the ability to drive change and create value for the organization for many years to come through insightful analysis and actionable recommendations for the set up of the new system.

• Significant Finance knowledge of a modern ERP system and its detail mechanics;
• Accounting designation and proven track record of big picture General; Accounting Project Accounting and Financial Reporting;
• Clear understanding of closing cycles Canadian entity to US consolidation environment;
• Experience with Canadian SACC Manual directives for Accounting and Rates;
• Experience with PSPC Canada Rate negotiations/schedules;
• Experience with Risk Adjusting Forecasts;
• Assist in preparation of the MAPPS Consolidated 3 year Strategic Plan;
• Develop and managing overhead budgets ensuring that all indirect costs are accounted for and controlled within the allocated budget;
• Regularly monitoring overhead expenses to ensure they are within budget and identifying areas where costs can be reduced;
• Special topic financial analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in finance/accounting;
• Accounting designation;
• Minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience in finance role;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
• Strong analytical skills detail oriented;
• Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities;
• Detailed oriented with strong accounting and finance skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Focused on teamwork and collaboration;
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Prior experience using Hyperion;
• Prior A&D industry experience;
• Extensive modern ERP system knowledge;
• General ledger accounting knowledge.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be eligible for registration with theControlled Goods Program;
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
• Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
