Job Summary

IT Program Manager (AI Transformation Lead) Remote

Strategic contract role in the insurance industry for a seasoned IT project management professional with AI delivery experience. Drive GenAI initiatives lead cross-functional teams manage stakeholder expectations and contribute to high-impact digital transformation. Remote or hybrid in Canada.

What is in it for you:

Salaried: $90-95 per hour.

Incorporated Business Rate: $110-115 per hour.

10-month contract.

Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.

Schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. EST time zone.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the delivery of GenAI projects from planning through execution.

Manage project scope constraints and roadmaps in collaboration with leadership.

Facilitate meetings document action items and develop project plans.

Conduct cost-benefit analysis and ensure delivery aligns with business priorities.

Collaborate across functions to gather requirements and identify necessary resources.

Act as liaison between AI Delivery Leads Portfolio Managers and business units.

Monitor project health escalate issues when needed and maintain stakeholder alignment.

Develop and present project deliverables stakeholder maps and governance plans.

Provide regular reporting status updates and risk assessments.

Independently drive projects while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

What you will need to succeed:

Bachelors degree in a related field.

MBA or other related advanced degree is a nice to have.

PMP or PMI certification is nice to have.

810 years of proven project management experience including people management and team building.

Experience delivering projects in fast-paced multi-platform environments.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Experience in cost-benefit analysis roadmap development and project documentation.

Ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders.

Proficiency in PowerPoint and ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Comfortable with data analysis to inform decision-making.

Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail.

Experience working on AI programs or exposure to financial services/sales is considered an asset.
