Role Title:Specialist Account Opening & Amendments

Division:Group Operations

About the Role

Delivery of service excellence and protection of client assets
Support manager in overseeing teams controls and processes
Act as an escalation point to your colleagues as well as providing support to the wider business
Positive contribution to and support for new initiatives and the strategic direction of Operations

What youll be responsible for

Assist in the production of appropriate management information including information relating to key performance indicators key risk indicators aligned to your responsibilities. Ensure these are produced on time and are appropriate for relevant committee audiences thereafter
Ensure that you are actively participating in Continuous Improvement principals and the 41 habits
Assist with the planning/ forecasting for the team and that this information is reviewed on a regular basis
Monitor the teams effectiveness/ failure against the agreed SLA/ performance whilst continuously looking to improve the service standard
Act as an escalation point for your peers/ colleagues highlighting any issues/ concerns you have to your manger along with potential solutions
Support the continuous improvement across the team leading to enhancements in efficiency and clients and customer experience (CX/UX)
Be responsible for performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new and existing IT systems which you operate as well as reviewing and signing off UAT performed by your colleagues
Ensure you are conducting control requirements on a consistent and timely basis
Oversee all CASS related processes systems and controls within your area in support of the SMF18 issues are escalated and resolved as and when necessary
Any other duties as required

About you

Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to analyse and improve operational processes
High level of accuracy and concentration with ability to grasp new tasks quickly
Effective problem solver generating practical solutions to often complex issues
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Focus on delivering service excellence
Report writing and analysing competence
Ability to train and guide colleagues
Ability to lead/ contribute to projects affecting your team including being responsible for UAT and decision making
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade A-C/ 5-9) including Maths & English
Experience of working as part of a team
Desirable: 3 years industry knowledge and an interest in the wealth management sector
