Job Summary
Role Purpose
To provide unique distinct and valuable research and consulting for China small medium display (including display prices micro display touch display and cover lens) within Omdias focusing on research quality and timeliness marketing sales thought leadership and customer satisfaction.
What you will do
- Data: Monthly and quarterly market trackers with surveys and market analysis in order to provide clients key insights.
- Forecast: Develop quantitative market models and forecasts
- Reports: Detailed and insightful text to support data and to provide customers with clear guidance on market outlook trends landscape and tech impact
- Presentations: Speech at Omdia event industry or client events
- Insight: Monthly insight articles
- Thought leadership: Regular and recognized market insight on changes risks and opportunity
Knowledge & Skills
- Domain knowledge: China small medium display market including smartphone touch cover lens and wearable XR applications
- Field survey: Strong primary research interview and data gathering skills
- Data processing: Handling numerous raw data before database level or pivot tables
- Forecast: Assumptions and logical thinking to create estimates scenarios and forecasts
- Organizing: Ability to find and piece together data from multiple sources and to connect the dots; able to create the reasonable story
- Multitasking: Ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively
- Discipline: Planning and executing deliverables as schedule
Interactions with
- Customers: Clearly communicating for research reports and market specific opinions
- Sales team: Partners to manage client relationships support renewals and generate new business
- Product management: Sharing feedback to ensure all research content decisions customer-centric
- Marketing team: Supporting content generation and initiatives to raise the profile of individual research Omdia and Informa TechTarget
- Leadership team Proactively communicating new ideas and feedback around process operations research etc. to support continual improvement
- Wider Informa Tech team Building network of colleagues to collaborate with
Qualifications :
- Graduated as MS or MA masters degree as a plus
- At least 2-3 years of work experience in display touch module system or research preferred
- Good domain knowledge at small medium display touch display and micro display as a plus
- Good skills and carefulness at Excel-based numerous data handling and management
- Good skills at PowerPoint-based presentation with concise organized and attractive content
