This position will work in Caterpillar China (Qingdao) R&D Center Electrification Energy Solution team on competitive battery solutions development.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for battery system requirements define and documentation.

2. Work with battery detail design engineers for battery concept development
与电池设计工程师一起完成概念设计
3. Lead battery on machine integration and installation design

4. Participating in battery design reviews

5. Supporting battery validation lead to complete DFMEA and DVP development.

6. Responsible for design issue management and resolutions during development.

7. Support machine prototype and pilot build

Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in mechanical/Mechatronics/Material/Electrical Engineering and related Masters is a plus.
本科以上学历 机械工程机械电子材料工程电气工程或者相关专业硕士优先
2. Required work experience in power battery design or integration preferred to have at least one project complete experience from project launch concept development detail design sample build pilot build to full production.
电池模组或者pack 的设计经验有至少一个从立项概念设计细节设计样件生产小批试制到量产的完整的项目经验更优
3. Strong Engineering fundamentals in mechanical design FEA analysis electrical heat transfer and Fluids
有较好的机械设计结构有限元分析电气设计流体和热传导等工程学基础
4. Proficiency in Creo or other 3D design tool good at 2D drawing design
有较好的用Creo 或者其他3D设计软件进行设计和2D图纸设计的能力
5. Familiar with battery module and pack manufacturing process demonstrated hands-on abilities
熟悉电池模组和包的生产制造过程有较好的动手能力
6. Proficiency with statistics and data analysis a detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills.

7. Good communication and project management skills

8. Good English skills and team player interested in new technology and self-motivated

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
