Job Summary

Chester-Andover Elementary School has an opening for a dynamic motivated and dedicated professional to work as a Long Term Substitute Guidance Counselor. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 7:30-3:30 starting in early March. Responsible to and serve under the direction of the Principal the counselor is responsible for the educational and emotional needs of the students and will fully support the policies and procedures of the school. Responsibilities include:

Teaching classroom guidance grades K-6

Facilitating small group counseling

Skill work/counseling with individual students

504 case management

Homeless determination/ attend IEP SST and Crisis Team meetings.
