Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $55 $60 per hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment in a clinical setting. The Radiology Tech will ensure patient safety produce high-quality diagnostic images and comply with radiation safety standards and organizational protocols while delivering compassionate patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations (general X-ray) per physician orders

• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images

• Operate adjust and maintain radiographic imaging equipment

• Verify patient identity and clearly explain imaging procedures

• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines for patients staff and self

• Review images for quality and accuracy prior to submission

• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the EMR (EPIC preferred)

• Maintain compliance with hospital state and federal regulations

• Collaborate with radiologists physicians nurses and healthcare team members

• Maintain a clean safe and organized imaging environment

• Assist with patient transport and positioning as needed

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

• Perform other related radiology duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist

• Experience in general diagnostic radiology (X-ray)

• Strong knowledge of anatomy patient positioning and radiation safety

• EMR experience (EPIC preferred)

Preferred Experience

• Hospital or acute-care radiology experience

• Experience in high-volume imaging environments

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (R) certification (required)

• Active New Jersey state license (if applicable)

• BLS certification (AHA)
