Description
This contract position is on-site offering a unique opportunity to provide critical radiological services and contribute to the health and well-being of our community.
In this role you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and interpreting results ensuring high-quality patient care. Youll work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses and support patient treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a variety of radiological examinations
- Collaborate with medical staff to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology practices and technology
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices
- Document findings accurately in patient records
- Provide expert opinions on imaging results to referring physicians
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Assist in training and supervising junior staff as needed
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Radiology or eligibility for certification
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Louisiana
- Experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: Sporadic weekday coverage
No call requirement

Must be board-certified
